While color preferences in fashion, architecture, automotive and design in general shift every few years, one color stands out from the trends: black.
Coco Chanel loved it for “wiping out everything else around”, Karl Lagerfeld stated you can’t do wrong with a little black dress and a recent survey by fuel retailer Aral unveiled: The majority of car owners want a dark coating for their next car (with 35 % for black, 13 % for anthracite and 9 % for gray1).
